Hong Kong Food Scene Tour

Hong Kong Food Scene Tour is priced at a basic level as we have six in depth stops to talk about history and culture behind Hong Kong foods. We focus on delivering a best in town experience eating all manner of Hong Kong style foods. We will try Wonton Noodles and watch how it is made traditionally, visit old noodle shops for a spot of shopping, visit traditional Hong Kong style barbecue meats in a small alley where they use black kurobuta to make their roasted pork. Learning about traditional barbecue and how these restaurant s function. We will also try rice noodles, a staple of local cuisine, Hong Kong style snacks and street foods including charcoal fired sweet potato and hazelnuts as well as finish on a high with Hong Kong style lollipop ice cream called Tim Tong.

10 Dedicated Stops for you to enjoy the food scene in Hong Kong. We will in this tour focus on the Island side including old restaurants and small snack shops to focus on getting the most out of the experience for 10 hour tour. Beginning at Shau Kei Wan at 10am and ending at 8pm in Central Hong Kong. As the name of this tour suggests we will be travelling from the Eastern district eating eastern foods and going west to some of Hong Kong’s best hidden speakeasies and bars and clubs.

This tour is a mix of history and gourmet surprise. Start your day with a traditional Hong Kong style British breakfast - a breakfast of old which exists because of colonial days in Hong Kong, baked beans, scrambled eggs and milk tea - a unique mix, then find yourself in Central having Hong Kong style lunch at Mott 32 a true VIP experience and wow factor, next find yourself at the hidden bars of Hong Kong - also set in Colonial Hong Kong - TaiKwun the former Police Headquarters and Victoria Jail, still peckish? Come with us to late night Hong Kong Haunt Tsui Wah the brand name everyone grew up having. Try out Hong Kong style condensed milk buns and porkchop pineapple buns to relieve that hangover! We finish your tour at Sheung Wan in a shop aptly named Bistro Du Vin for a glass of wine! In this tour we will also have dinner at Hei Fai Street Food Restaurant! Hong Kong Alleyways and Sideways

Not your typical food tour - it starts in an alley way in Causeway Bay with a quick street foods style meal at Hey Fai Street Food Restaurant. Then move to the underbridge crab restaurant we call Kiu Dai Hai - literally underbridge crab! Next move to feast on street food of the Hong Kong Kind also in another alleyway - hidden and tucked away behind a fruit market in wanchai - finally head up into moon street - via another alleyway and have an ice cream! We finish the night in sideways fashion going across one of the many footbridges to a bar called Mizunara hidden in an apartment building for a social and a meet up. This tour includes all five restaurants and one drink at the bar as well as all service charges. This tour for operational reasons must be reserved two weeks in advance.
